The Scholar That Stumbled Upwards
It was just another brothel, another lounge of escorts and companions to chat and lust the night away. His friend, A'lethil had told him to come by. She had someone he wanted to meet, and really he rolled his eyes at such a sentiment but there wasn't much else going on for him. So he found himself in the Shroud, wandering the Lavender Beds in an outfit he wore mainly for maritime comfort. He looked at the door to the large, flowery estate before him. It was the place, and with a sigh he walked in.Little did the Midlander know he was walking into a rift between space and time, his world and the next. The dancing glittering lights, the aethereal atmosphere. If he was paying attention he probably would have seen it. But, an unsuspecting walk down a hallway and suddenly... He was there. His eyes opened and he was laying on a bed in a dark, dull room. A glimmering shine through the doorway, and suddenly Seaburn saw his friend with the woman she described. It was surreal, how did he get here? That wasn't the question, there was a woman on his arms. She was quite beautiful too. But... he couldn't shake the feeling something was off. Where was he? How did he get into this room? The Scholar knew it was something he had to solve, but that would wait for the morning. For now he was to enjoy the fruits of the Garden for a night.
